Fernando is no ordinary scooter enthusiast. Argentine-born, Bondi-based Fernando has spent the last decade mastering the art of building high-performing cultures as a management consultant, but his passion doesn’t stop there—he’s also a dedicated scooter rider, exploring Sydney’s beauty.
Join us as Fernando shares his journey, discovering the beauty of Sydney through the eyes of his Arthur 6:
I first discovered FONZ when I spotted a few on the streets of Bondi, and they immediately caught my attention. I decided to take one for a test ride, and it was love at first sight.
“I value and tend to partner with organisations that are forward-thinking and disrupt their industries, which is why I was drawn to FONZ.”
I first tried riding scooters in Bali back in 2015 during a casual ride. It was such a fun and freeing experience that it stuck with me.
“I was surprised by how easy it was to drive around.”
The smooth handling made it feel effortless, and I really liked the cream colour—it has such a stylish, classic look. Overall, I was really impressed with the experience.
I have an Arthur 6 Long Range in Moon Blue, and it's perfect as is. It’s everything I need in a scooter, and I wouldn’t change a thing.
It’s ideal for commuting quickly across the Eastern Suburbs and into the city. I charge it at home, so I don’t need to stop at a petrol station, and I can charge it for just $1.
It's hard to tell with so many great spots, but I love riding along the Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk, Paddington and Woollahra, and through Double Bay or Rose Bay, stopping at cafes along the way to do a bit of reading.
“Sydney is a stunning city to explore on a scooter—it feels therapeutic, especially on the weekends.”
If I could ride alongside anyone, it would be Lionel Messi. As a fellow Argentine, Messi represents perseverance, humility, and excellence. I would also ride with my mother. Her support, education, and love have been instrumental in shaping me into the person I am today.
