Ingrid

Legal Officer NSW Department of Planning and Environment and NKD rider

Re-establishing a legal career in a foreign country in my late 30’s. I thought I was too old, no one would understand my accent, this was too difficult... My uniqueness is my accent, my complexion and being able to wear what I want to suit how I am feeling without the worry of judgement.

What can women like you achieve?

Re-establishing a legal career in a foreign country in my late 30’s. I thought I was too old, no one would understand my accent, this was too difficult.

How do you feel about acknowledging that women should be perfectly imperfect? What is your uniqueness?

I wholeheartedly agree that we don’t all need to look like the “perfect woman”, the perfect woman is one who is true to who she is regardless of how she dresses, what she wears, whether or not she has an accent, or looks different. My uniqueness is my accent, my complexion and being able to wear what I want to suit how I am feeling without the worry of judgement.

How do you inspire other women?

My resilience to whatever life throws my way, doing what I want and never giving up

What makes you you?

I am kind, caring, always trying to make the world a better place where I can. I am also stubborn and I don’t give up easily.

What made you think of switching and to ride electric?

I’ve always been environmentally conscious and was not happy with the footprint I was making with my general commutes particularly locally.

What do you aspire or dream to achieve with your NKD?
